We purchase the majority of craft materials and all our snacks and food hamper supplies in Nicaragua. Buying local is really good for their economy, and thanks to the love that Canadians have for their Nicaraguan brothers and sisters, we are being well supported to purchase crafts, snacks and supplies. You can be part of the mission by providing financial support for VBS supplies and snacks.
Total VBS Cost January 2026 : 60 000$
aPPROX COST PER CHILD for one week of Vacation Bible School snacks, crafts and materials is $35.00
We employ local interpreters to assist our Pastors in their teaching, and our volunteers in their communication. The translators tell us that they look forward to our visit, not only for the much needed income, but also for the relationships they form with us and with the local churches.
The Pastors and deaconesses look forward to working with the Canadian Pastors and volunteers each year. The fellowship is joyful and fulfilling for participants from both countries.
